A woman suffered a catastrophic car accident resulting in a lacerated liver, holes in her spleen, and over 100 broken bones. She coded three times during the emergency. Life-flighted from California to Reno, she experienced multiple profound spiritual encounters during her medical crisis. Initially, she found herself floating above her body, observing herself wrapped in blankets below.
She then floated to her husband's side, hearing him tell others about her lacerated liver and that she might die, though he couldn't hear her reassurances that she was okay. She flew toward the sky where she encountered her father who had died two months prior from cancer. He appeared refreshed and young again, telling her she wasn't finished with her work and had to return, though she resisted. She entered a golden light where she met an old Indian man. Together they created a healing robe of stones - leather with a breastplate of moonstone, lapis, and silver that felt heavy on her body. Despite begging to pass over due to the anticipated pain, she was told no. She remained in the warm golden light wearing this healing robe for three days, being shown things that are sometimes blocked but remembered at appropriate times. She awoke 15 days later to learn she'd received 22 units of blood and undergone 24 hours of surgeries for her broken bones. Despite multiple infections and grim prognosis, she healed miraculously within three days. Medical staff called her rapid wound healing amazing. She later learned the stones in her vision (moonstone and lapis) are associated with blood and infection healing in Edgar Cayce's Atlantis writings.
