While vacationing in Bali, the experiencer received news that their dog had been left without water by the boyfriend's sister. After confronting the boyfriend, he became violent and put them in a chokehold while kneeling over their head as they lay on their back. They felt lightheaded and about to black out, then everything went dark. After hearing distant rambling voices, a bright light appeared requiring their eyes to adjust. They found themselves in the same room but filled with smoky haze, all bright colors gone, replaced by cool tones. They were taller than usual, standing at the feet of their physical body. Their body was frothing large amounts of white foam from the mouth and seizing. They felt nothing and wondered why the boyfriend was so panicked as he apologized, slapped their cheek, and screamed for help. A Balinese woman entered asking what happened and splashed water on the body's face. Throughout this, they had no realization the body on the floor was theirs. They began floating backwards and upwards diagonally as voices grew fainter. Instantly they woke back in their body, panicked, ran to the door, fell down two flights of stairs and were carried to the foyer for assistance.
