The experiencer spent several hours in the hospital emergency room in excruciating pain and nausea due to a bowel obstruction caused by adhesions strangling the small intestine. After tests, emergency surgery was scheduled immediately. Within the hour, she was in the operating room undergoing the procedure when her soul left her body during the surgery.
During surgery, her soul left her body and floated above the operating table where she could see doctors and nurses working over her for what seemed like a minute or two. Suddenly surrounded by beautiful rainbow-colored light, she moved rapidly through it and found herself standing in Heaven next to a golden wall of pure gold surrounding a glorious city. She experienced pure love and peace, heard celebration sounds from within the city, and stood in a meadow filled with wildflowers of vibrant colors. A beagle puppy played at her feet while hundreds of people with angels walked from a garden toward the city entrance. She recognized two men passing by: a friend's son who had died years before and his father, an older gentleman. She was given infused knowledge that she had to return to tell the wife that her husband and son were together. Key observations included seeing two specific deceased men (father and son) walking together toward the heavenly city, whom she recognized from pictures and whose deaths were later confirmed. The wife's husband had died during her surgery, which she learned only after awakening. A beagle puppy appeared at her feet, later explained when her daughter revealed a neighbor had beaten a beagle puppy to death. Upon returning to her body, she awoke hooked to machines with a nurse at her bedside. Later that day, after being moved to her room, she received a message that the woman whose son had died years ago had lost her husband that day during her surgery - these were the two men she had seen. Her friend was grateful for the message that her son and husband were together.
