Hannah, age 25, experienced an NDE in July 1996 during cesarean section for her second child. Complications arose when doctors discovered a tumor on her stomach and liver during surgery. Her blood pressure fell dramatically and her heart stopped three times, with medical staff using adrenaline injections directly into her heart for resuscitation. She was declared dead for approximately 7-8 minutes.
During the third cardiac arrest, Hannah saw herself lying on the operating table and heard doctors shouting about blood loss and the tumor discovery. She experienced all-encompassing golden light followed by entering a beautiful landscape - a bright green pasture full of glowing red tulips. A blonde woman in a blue dress accompanied her, whom she recognized from a spiritual visitation twelve years earlier. Hannah felt perfect peace and happiness beyond any earthly experience. After what seemed like hours but was actually minutes, she was pulled back into her body against her will.
