Jackie, age 7, accidentally swallowed glass that nicked her jugular vein internally, causing massive blood loss. She vomited large amounts of blood and was rushed to the hospital. She floated above herself and saw her parents on the other side of a curtain - her mother smoking a cigarette and father with hands folded looking stressed. She could see her own body being worked on. The doctor declared her dead saying "she is already dead...but we can maybe bring her around if we get more blood into her quick enough." Her mother lit a cigarette at this point, later confirmed. The doctor yelled at her mother to put out the cigarette due to oxygen tanks. Jackie experienced grainy, noisy vision like TV static when trying to open eyes. She recovered after a week in hospital.
