During a Labor Day 1977 car accident, a person experienced time slowing as their car was struck and headed toward a concrete pole. Everything stopped in suspended animation before a presence surrounded them with a swooshing sound like helicopter blades. They moved upward rapidly through bright white light, seeing the accident scene below while feeling profound peace and certainty of safety.
They arrived at a cobblestone path with a luminescent glass city shimmering in unseen colors to the left and a meadow with children, adults, and animals playing to the right. Their guide, appearing as a handsome 30-35 year old in brown robes, led them to a library within towering buildings. The library contained countless scrolls where beings cheered their arrival. They experienced a 360-degree life review showing the domino effects of harsh words affecting hundreds of people. For 60 years they studied scrolls containing complete human lives and universal information. They learned about predetermined life choices, the illusion of linear time, and that even evil serves evolution's purpose. When told to return after extensive learning, they negotiated terms but ultimately squeezed back into their body in the ambulance. Their friend spent 3 months hospitalized while they emerged unscathed. Forty years later, they recognized their guide as a childhood friend who died at age 12.
