Joy, an 82-year-old woman with severe heart problems, underwent emergency knee replacement surgery in January 2023 after shattering her knee in a fall. During the difficult and lengthy surgery, she experienced a profound near-death experience that transformed her lifelong skepticism about God and the afterlife. She found herself in what she knew was heaven, skipping above the universe with a little girl angel who looked like her daughter. She witnessed angels who appeared as regular people working in complete unity to solve the world's problems, with no fighting and total understanding among them. The environment was extraordinarily beautiful with rolling green hills, glowing flowers, and children playing - everything alive and working in unison. Most significantly, the angels unwrapped her daughter Kathy's heart to show Joy the depth of her daughter's love for her, saying "see how much Kathy loves you!" This revelation was profound for Joy, who had struggled with depression and feeling unloved her entire life due to severe abuse and obesity. The experience completely eliminated her fear of death and doubt about God's existence. She felt unconditionally loved for the first time in her 82 years. Joy passed away six months later in July 2023, maintaining her certainty about heaven and the love she experienced there.
