In 1978, Halina underwent stomach resection surgery under general anesthesia with ether. She remembers the doctor applying the anesthetic, after which she observed her body floating in the air and moving to the right side of the operating room. She was amazed at what she saw and later recalled every detail of the operation, which she reported to the doctors when being moved to her room post-surgery.

Her consciousness continued moving right until she found herself in a grey desert where she heard a voice from underground repeating three times: "There is GOD, There is GOD, There is GOD." The word "ecstasy" best describes her feeling - great ecstasy combined with profound awe for God. She continued until reaching a tunnel with rays of sunlight. She knelt down and felt God's presence, experiencing what appeared as a huge sun in orange, gold, and red colors. As a five-year-old, she had been fascinated by the sun and tried to reach and touch it, which may have influenced this imagery.

During the experience, she received special knowledge that she believes is engraved in her soul about the purpose of life, though she cannot consciously recall the specific information. She understood this as a world of God and His laws that she needed to believe and interpret. She felt completely at home and repeatedly told medical staff she wanted to return there. Remarkably, two hours after the stomach resection, she was walking normally as if nothing had happened.

The experience profoundly changed her perspective - she now likes people as they are and enjoys talking to God in silence. She also reports frequently knowing what people are thinking. Later, her parents appeared to her in a dream three days before another surgery, which led her to recognize complications that required additional intervention.

--- Biblical Summary ---
Biblical elements: The experience strongly affirms God's existence with the repeated declaration "There is GOD" three times, reminiscent of biblical triple affirmations of holiness (Isaiah 6:3). The overwhelming sense of God's presence, kneeling in worship, divine light, receiving knowledge about life's purpose, and lasting spiritual transformation align with biblical encounters. The complete peace and feeling of being "home" reflects biblical descriptions of God's presence.

Unbiblical elements: None identified. The experience is remarkably free of problematic elements, focusing solely on God's reality and presence without new age concepts, reincarnation, or works-based salvation themes.
