Emily was 40 years old and pregnant with her fifth child when she experienced a catastrophic medical emergency during childbirth. They walked together and talked, with God conveying profound sadness about how humanity treats each other, emphasizing that love, kindness, forgiveness, and helping one another were what made him happy. God explained that love was like an infection that could consume darkness on earth, and that Emily was part of him as he was part of her and every soul. Four dark figures appeared before the tunnel of bluish-green light that formed a slow-moving vortex. Two radiated motherly love, one seemed deeply concerned (she thought was her father), and the fourth had a protective, authoritative aura. God told her she had to return to take care of two of the figures, though as a child she couldn't understand why she would need to care for adults. The murmuring light grew louder when she focused on it but she could control its volume. Emily awoke in recovery freezing cold and shaking uncontrollably for an hour. The surgeon informed her she could never have more children as the internal damage was severe. Her newborn son's eyes locked with hers with the same recognition she had felt when meeting his father. Years later, she believes God touched her again when a voice told her "BODIES ARE MADE TO HEAL THEMSELVES" before surgery for an infected milk duct, leading to miraculous healing that astounded doctors.
