Steve, suffering from long-term heart problems with 25% ejection fraction, entered heart failure in September 2019 and was placed in a medically induced coma for two days. During his clinical death, he felt his soul snap out of his body after a struggle and observed Kim and Alice by his bedside from the ceiling. He was drawn through a shimmering light filled with millions of flickering particles into a realm of complete belonging and Agape Love. Initially overwhelmed by millions of worshippers praising God, he witnessed a massive heavenly city with walls extending infinitely, surrounded by fields of beautiful flowers where people and animals strolled together. His deceased parents greeted him, with his father showing his previously missing finger restored. He met many deceased relatives including those who had committed suicide, struggled with addiction, and lived controversial lives, all present in heaven. Steve was not allowed to enter the city gates and was told he had work to do before being sent back. He then experienced hell as a cold, black void where he was suspended in an oval cave with mysterious writing on the walls and encountered Satan as a handsome, well-dressed man. After extensive experiences in both realms lasting what felt like days, he returned to his body and later received an LVAD device, feeling better than he had in years.
