Rogier experienced recurring dreams/nightmares for 40 years about his birth experience, which he finally understood at age 40. The dreams stopped after gaining this understanding. In the experience, he was aware in his mother's uterus feeling warm and comfortable. When natural childbirth began, he faced a choice - the birth canal was blocked by the umbilical cord around his neck, or he could give up and not be born. He felt a strong need to be born and knew the birth canal was bottom right. Three tall, non-human creatures appeared on his upper left. They weren't human but glowed with high orange-light energy, wearing brownish cloaks with long faces. The middle creature communicated telepathically with him, giving a kind and convincing head-nod that made him feel comfortable and welcomed. After this encouragement, the vision disappeared and he was born completely blue from lack of oxygen. The midwife brought him back to life. He interprets this as beings giving him the choice and encouragement to live when facing potential death at birth. The experience convinced him that supreme beings exist and gave him a sense that we must live life in the best possible manner to grow and potentially become higher beings.
