At age 11, Patricia was preparing to go to the Jersey shore on a hot Sunday. While setting up her father's super-8 projector to play family films, she looked directly into the projector light when the film jammed. She felt a jolt and her vision was affected, seeing colors before her eyes. As her mother and uncle rushed to help, the light grew increasingly bright and her consciousness became distant. The experience profoundly altered Patricia's life, leading her to become deeply spiritual and develop psychic abilities including precognitive warnings, sensing others' emotions, and receiving early notifications about loved ones' deaths. She describes feeling chosen to walk between two worlds.
