Nikita P was at a youth festival concert when he fainted after falling off a balance board, hitting his neck and arm. While unconscious for what others said was about two minutes, he experienced a slowing of consciousness where time seemed distorted. He heard strange chorus sounds and robotic voices that seemed both near and far. In the darkness, he saw a peculiar sphere resembling a glass ball with fish-eye lens distortion, containing spots with images from his immediate surroundings - lantern garlands, a spruce tree, a man in a festival hood, puddles on the road. He could examine these images by mentally approaching them, realizing they represented the environment around his unconscious body. Recognizing he hadn't achieved everything he wanted in life, he made a conscious choice to return to reality. Upon awakening, he felt shaken and afraid of fainting again. The experience led him to believe our world may not be entirely real, possibly one of many worlds or a simulation, and that death is not something to fear.
