Steve was in Key West with friends when he suffered a widow maker heart attack and was dead when he hit the floor. His friend's wife immediately started CPR while EMTs were called. He turned and felt a faint sense of falling face-first to the floor before losing consciousness.
He found himself outside his body, floating about two stories high near the steps, watching the action. He was in perfect awareness, seeing the EMTs negotiate narrow stairs with tight turns, laughing and thinking "There's no way they're getting THAT guy to the ambulance!" He saw a large crowd watching and remembers specific faces, making eye contact with a dark-haired kid before shooting off at indescribable speed. He traveled at light speed through kaleidoscopic colors so bright and dynamic he cannot describe them, approaching a wondrous glowing ball of light with someone behind him communicating everything was cool. He experienced more than three dimensions, his entire life flashed before him all at once, and he learned that love is all that matters - for all humans, earth, animals, even insects. All things are connected at every level. Time is not linear - all time is now, then, next. He woke in Key West Regional Hospital with brain damage but intact personality. Weeks later he found the doctor's picture in the hospital database - someone he had never met before or after. He now has deep compassion and love, enhanced hearing, can predict some future events, and gained knowledge about reincarnation, universal connection, and that the Creator doesn't care HOW we acknowledge Him, just that we do.
