Shandeen had a prescheduled surgery on November 10, 2022. After receiving anesthesia through her IV, she was told she would fall asleep in the surgery room but fell asleep before then. Due to undiagnosed sleep apnea, she stopped breathing during the procedure, causing significant complications.
She woke up in the surgery room looking at herself on the surgery table, not hovering but standing in the corner with a very bright light, having a telepathic conversation. She could hear the doctor's thoughts - he was extremely worried something had gone terribly wrong. She stood next to the bright light laughing about how the doctor and nurses thought she was dead. The light told her many people are going through an awakening and that it was time to return. She felt the experience lasted months though it was likely much shorter. She heard the doctor's worried thoughts about her condition and observed the medical team surrounding her body. The bright light communicated telepathically about a spiritual awakening happening to many people. She could zoom in on the thoughts of doctors and nurses, felt no pain or worry, and experienced time differently with past, present and future happening simultaneously. Upon waking, a scared nurse repeatedly called her name about ten times, asking if she had sleep apnea and telling her to get checked. Her chest hurt like someone had performed CPR. Her mother had felt something was wrong during the extended surgery time. The experience left her more loving toward others, laughing more, and understanding not to take life so seriously.
