Ginger M experienced an NDE on September 21, 1981, during childbirth complications. After a fast delivery where the placenta was found shredded, she suffered severe hemorrhaging three days postpartum when retained placental tissue passed. During clinical death requiring CPR, she observed the scene from the ceiling and noticed part of the hospital wall was gone. She watched a nurse raise her arm to give a precordial thump. She then saw a stairway with two beings who escorted her up to a beautiful garden realm. She felt the most wonderful love and peace that surrounded her. Her young-appearing great-grandmother (who had died when Ginger was 11) was waiting and walked with her through the garden, telling her it was her personal garden. They approached a huge, jeweled gate with golden shimmers beyond. Her great-grandmother said it wasn't her time and pushed her back into her body. The experience brought complete certainty about the afterlife and her purpose as a nurse for 40 years. She reports having another NDE at age 60 and received prophetic information about her life that has proven accurate.
