Eileen B experienced an NDE in 1981 during a simple operation under general anesthesia in Germany. During the procedure, she suddenly found herself watching from above as medical staff shocked her heart, hearing their conversations. She then sped down a brick-like tunnel similar to what a train would go through, with a light visible at the far end. At one point she stopped and hovered, thinking "Oh my God, I'm dying! Please don't let me die here in Germany. It will kill my mom to lose me." She was then transported to a long hallway with doors on both sides. A voice instructed her to open one door, where she encountered three men in black with no faces. They made her watch a screen showing all the bad things she had done to others in her life, displaying her hurtful actions. After this life review, she flew through the universe and popped back into her body. She awakened to find about 10 doctors standing above her and spent over a week in the hospital. Remarkably, her mother had sent her Raymond Moody's "Life After Life" before she told anyone about her experience.
