Peter underwent bypass surgery in October 2021 and experienced ventricular fibrillation during the procedure, which the doctor later confirmed to him. While waking from the surgery, he had what he calls a "Déjà-vu" experience with non-linear time perception. He could predict word-for-word the dialogs and actions happening in his environment before they occurred, then would hear them happen exactly as predicted. This temporal displacement felt like sections of time had been cut and twisted 180 degrees, allowing him to experience future moments before they happened.
During the initial phase of awakening, Peter was shown three light waves representing different paths of human consciousness evolution. The first path, chosen by most of humanity, involves daily struggle. The second, shown in gray, alternates between euphoric and depressive phases. The third path represents absolute victimhood in darkness, where beings hand over power to external entities. However, he was also shown that this darkness contains the possibility for humanity's greatest transformation toward love, compassion, kindness, and benevolence. The first path was described as utterly beautiful, filled with beings who dance and sing through life in constant connection with divine creation, living in humor, joy, and gratitude where all fear dissolves. Peter was guided by a wonderful being of light who provided perfect comprehension and acceptance. The experience left him with irrepressible joy and the conviction that separation from the divine is merely imaginary. During his recovery, he shared his experience with a rehabilitation group, and when he stated he wouldn't have had this wonderful experience without the surgery, the entire room illuminated in brilliant light witnessed by all present, transforming everyone there. The experience eliminated his fear and provided him with the understanding that life is not a school but a remembrance of what we truly are.
