While escorting nuclear waste convoy from Atucha 1 power station on January 6, 2000, Dario was shot by criminals. Five bullets penetrated his bulletproof vest - one near his heart, one in his spine, one in his belly/intestines, and two in his legs. During surgery, he floated above his body watching surgeons operate. When he tried to touch one surgeon, his hand passed through. Everything went black, then he saw distant light and moved toward it. He found a green field with vegetation and a river crossed by a golden bridge with jewels and writings praising God in all languages. After crossing, he met his grandmother and vice governor Ramon Barrios. He wanted to stay but heard "It is not your time" and saw Christ, recognizing Him by the nail wounds though His face was too bright. Christ commanded him to return. Seventy-two hours later his heart stopped again. An angel named Mich'l (Michael), five meters tall in white combat vestments, appeared and took him to Hell - a lake of blood with rotten burnt flesh, worms, demons raping people, and forced eternal dancing. Michael made the sign of the cross to repel attacking demons and returned him to his body with a choice message.
