Makaila was driving home from work when she hydroplaned on wet roads at 50 mph. Her car flew off the road, went two feet into the ground, and flipped three times. She was ejected through the windshield on the third flip. During the accident, she found herself in a pure black room with invisible walls that revealed stars - a cosmos-type space. The room was cold and dark but felt comforting. She sensed a male presence behind her that felt too comforting, as if something was wrong. In this space, she appeared in her childhood body but was pure white, like drawn on paper. The room had shiny silver strings at the corners where walls met ceiling and floor. Feeling uneasy about the presence, she ran to a wall which revealed a door with bright light shining through. Upon passing through the door, she awoke in the ambulance covered in blood. First responders said they were certain she would die given the severity of the crash and her injuries, but she only had a small brain bleed, C2 vertebrae fracture, and five gashes. She left the hospital in three days, fully walking.
