Clark B was electrocuted by 7200 volts/80 amps in February 1966 and was clinically dead. He experienced hovering over his family, observing them crying while he felt wonderful. He saw his body as a discarded shoe and felt guilty that his family was grieving while he felt so good. He wanted them to be dead with him to share the experience. During the NDE, he felt pure love, peace, satisfaction, and joy, along with complete unity with the universe. He experienced understanding of everything but suffered partial amnesia for three months after resuscitation. The company doctor had prepared his death certificate and waited four hours expecting him to die. Clark believes he has a mission as a messenger to help people not fear death.
--- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The experience includes clinical death with consciousness surviving bodily death, out-of-body experience viewing earthly events, overwhelming peace and joy consistent with divine presence, sense of universal understanding and unity, and transformation resulting in loss of death fear and sense of divine mission. These align with biblical concepts of eternal consciousness and divine purpose. Unbiblical elements: None explicitly identified. The desire for family to die to join him, while emotionally understandable, doesn't align with biblical respect for God's timing of death.
