Cheltsey was born with a Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) and underwent open heart surgery at age 8 in 2004. During the procedure under general anesthesia, she experienced clinical death requiring CPR. She witnessed the doctors working on her body from above before her soul traveled through a white tunnel guided by angels. She encountered extraordinarily bright colors that don't exist on Earth and felt an overwhelming sense of comfort, happiness, and perfection. In this realm, there was no need to breathe, eat, sleep, or experience pain. She met Jesus Christ, who appeared with nail marks from crucifixion on his hands, which he explained showed how much he loves humanity. Cheltsey begged to stay in this perfect place, telling Jesus that the world was evil and cruel, but he responded "not yet" and said it wasn't her time because she had a purpose to fulfill. She was then sent back and awoke intubated. The experience profoundly changed her religious beliefs, leading to her salvation in her teenage years. She emphasizes that in heaven, earthly concerns like money, awards, illness, and suffering don't matter - only obedience to Jesus. The love she experienced was incomparable and indescribable. The memory remains vivid and she occasionally shares it with those she feels won't judge her.
