Sheila experienced three heart attacks in the hospital, with the longest clinical death lasting 15-18 minutes. During her third heart attack, while intubated and being resuscitated, she had multiple encounters with Jesus. Her experience began with her consciousness leaving her body and traveling through a tube-like tunnel filled with colors, which she later understood to be galaxies and universes.
She arrived in an all-white courtyard where she met Jesus, whose love was so intense it knocked her to her knees. She spent what felt like days sitting on His lap, conversing in what may have been Aramaic, though she understood everything perfectly. Jesus told her three critical things: fellowship with believers is important, forgiveness is essential for salvation, and those who hurt children face severe consequences. He showed her a new world within His eye and explained that Satan fears believers' connection with God. The experience included sensory-rich details like sitting under gazebo structures where people were cooking and performing music, and being served incredibly delicious fruit by a woman who may have been blue in color. Jesus emphasized that kindness is crucial - that we should treat each other like royalty because we are all connected. He revealed that He cries when we criticize ourselves because He sees us as absolutely perfect. Sheila begged to return to Earth despite Jesus wanting her to stay, citing concern for her friend and cats. Upon return, she found herself able to hear God clearly and developed a mission to help bring His children home. After the experience, Sheila was paralyzed and wheelchair-bound initially but miraculously recovered completely. She now speaks openly about Christianity and maintains that her experience was absolutely real, with her friend Peggi recording her testimony immediately after she regained consciousness.
