Star E was murdered by her estranged husband who had been stalking her after their separation. During an unexpected visit to her hidden home, he attacked her with extreme violence, choking her repeatedly and using a weapon. After multiple attempts to strangle her, he successfully cut off her air supply completely. As she was dying, unable to breathe and knowing death was seconds away, she surrendered to death saying "I'm ready to die, Lord."
Upon surrendering, Star was immediately engulfed in pure, brilliant light and no longer had a physical body. She found herself in the center of a vast nothingness that was completely filled with the presence of the living God. She describes being in the middle of "the Glory" - a place beyond words in the English language. God wrapped her in His love and held her to His breast, filling every fiber of her being with peace that passes all understanding. She experienced God's love for her at a level she never knew existed. While wrapped in this divine love, Star completely surrendered her will and everything she was to God without hesitation. She wanted to stay there forever and told her Father she was ready to come home. God spoke words specifically for her, telling her that her complete surrender was what He had been waiting for, but that He was taking her back because it wasn't her time yet. He gave her new life both physically and spiritually. God then released her husband's grip from her throat and pushed him away. When Star returned to consciousness on the floor, she was no longer afraid despite the severe injuries and blood everywhere. Her husband was crying and asking "What have I done?" She convinced him to leave, which he did mysteriously quickly. The experience transformed her completely - she went to Bible school, was ordained, taught in churches and overseas, became a mission leader, and led teams internationally. She gained great compassion, ability to love greatly, and moves in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
