On January 3, 2018, Alex experienced a massive heart attack at home. He had been feeling unwell and noticed a vibrating sensation in his chest. His blood pressure spiked to 156/106, the highest it had ever been. He experienced multiple seizures with crushing chest pain like a bowling ball pushing up his throat. First responders arrived and the paramedic said they were losing him. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
In the pre-op area, his eyes rolled up and the lights went out. His last thought was "Thank God, it's over!" He then found himself in blackness, experiencing intense happiness, joy, and love beyond any words. He was in a fog watching a brilliant light that grew brighter as the feelings intensified. The light was so bright that people appeared as silhouettes. One person was lying horizontally with others hustling around the body. He was drawn to the light and overwhelming feelings. Then he heard "200 joules. Set. Clear." and tried to scream "NO!" with all his might. The body lurched skyward and when it landed, he was back in his body. He could see the medical team performing CPR even before opening his eyes. When he raised his hand, they realized he was back. The doctor confirmed they had shocked him with 200 joules to bring him back. He was clinically dead for 4-10 minutes according to the medical team. Alex returned with a message that thousands or millions will die from something coming, and there will be a massive effort to save everyone that shouldn't be done. He experienced lasting changes including increased empathy and awareness of past wrongs he needed to make amends for.
