A 7-year-old girl was electrocuted while moving an old green lamp on her red desk, receiving a heavy electrical shock to her head. She left her body, felt sucked upward, and floated in dark space with sharp vision and pure, pleasant organ-like sounds. She thought "So this is what death is like. It's not serious. It doesn't hurt." She felt no fear, only pleasure. She saw scrolling black and white images like an old movie - her grandparents (grandfather deceased, grandmother alive), school, the North Sea, and parents. Large white letters scrolled around her forming words including "bike," "Pierre," "children," "school" and others. In the darkness, she saw a distant glow that became an indescribably powerful light like sunlight through a prism with all colors present yet mixed. She was attracted to this light feeling immense, indescribable love emanating from it. She entered a soft, reassuring dark tunnel with increasingly blinding light at the end and a human silhouette. The love was so powerful she'd never known it before or since. She wanted to reach the person but saw images of her mother and brother when older, not fine and needing her. Torn between the light and returning for them, she apologized to the Being for not being able to die. She was brutally propelled back into her burning body. Her mother found her on the floor, body shaking, holding the lamp stuck to her face. After getting shocked herself, her mother wrapped her hands and pulled the plug. Julie experienced burning lungs, wet clothes from bladder release, and months of insomnia fearing the silhouette would take her. She developed strong psychic abilities, seeing future and past events, overwhelming empathy, and spontaneous sharing of joy and love.
