A teenage girl was riding her bike with her sister when she attempted to ride up a steep hill. After reaching the top, she suddenly collapsed unconscious over her bike, experiencing what appeared to be cardiac arrest. During the event, she had an extraordinary out-of-body experience where she became another person - an elderly man around 60 years old walking in a desert, complete with his lifetime of memories, wife, and children. She experienced herself as this man thinking about his village and the love between them. Suddenly everything went black and the man jumped in fear. She then found herself back in her body, convulsing on the ground. As the man's consciousness inhabited her body, he was terrified and confused by the green leaves and unfamiliar surroundings. Gradually, as feeling returned to her fingers and toes, she became herself again while the man faded away. Her sister reported she had turned purple during the incident. The experience brought profound changes including becoming extremely psychic with knowledge of future events, immunity to electric shocks, watches no longer working on her, and a complete shift in perspective where she viewed her abusive parents as children needing guidance. She experienced constant deja-vu and knowledge of future events, including knowing she would divorce her future husband before marrying him.
