On July 10, 2020, 71-year-old John passed out from heat stroke while at a wall and fell 40 feet into a stream below. His experience was like flicking off a switch - one moment sitting, next moving through a meadow or field. He felt completely relaxed, peaceful, safe, calm, serene, stress-free with wellness, joy, happiness, heightened awareness and clarity. He was in bright outdoor sunlight that wasn't hot, extremely comfortable and willing to remain there. His mind was sensing this new wonderful environment while his body was unconscious. He then found himself floating in the cool stream with his son's arm under his head. Despite the 40-foot fall, he had minimal damage and immediately asked about his wife. He felt no shock or adrenaline, maintaining the peace from the experience. Heat stroke victims require immediate cooling which the stream provided, likely saving his life. Medical staff wanted to keep him immobilized but he insisted he was fine, not in shock, and was walking out within 30 minutes. He remains a committed Christian, his faith strengthened by experiencing what he hopes to return to when his time comes.
