After September 5, 1991, Greg experienced multiple NDEs following a major car accident that caused a ruptured aorta and numerous other injuries. He died approximately five times while in the ICU and operating room, also suffering an allergic reaction to penicillin.
During the first several deaths, he went through a void/curtain/wall dividing mortals from heaven. He saw only a white light in a dark room and heard from a shadow (later identified as a friend who died 5 years earlier) repeatedly saying it was not his time. During his final experience, he felt awake on the operating table, hearing the nurse and doctor. He heard a female voice say "we're losing him" and the heart monitor. His soul was grabbed and pulled upward to the ceiling. He tried to look back but was not allowed. The OR sounds slowly faded as if someone was turning down the volume. After going through a dark tunnel where light slowly became brighter, the shadow of his deceased friend appeared again, telling him it was not his time. He was glad to know his friend had made it to heaven. The experience gave him what he describes as a "god-complex" and belief in his immortality. He also believes he has a more direct line to God and has received answers only God could provide. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The experience includes biblical elements of transition through death (void/curtain), encounter with deceased friend in heavenly realm, divine light, and divine timing for return.
