Timothy had a brain tumor that ruptured and filled his brain with blood in 2009. Initially going blind while examining his truck engine, he collapsed and was told he would die. After being transported to Pittsburgh for surgery, he traveled through a black cloud tunnel using his mind, emerging in a vast field of yellow daisies with no boundaries. He hovered above the daisies and approached a massive 20-foot wide tree. An angel (appearing as a puff of smoke with bright blue eyes) communicated telepathically that it wasn't his time, that Heavenly Father wanted him to return to do work for Him, and that he would be protected. Angels called the realm "The Heavenly Kingdom" and God "Heavenly Father." He observed six spirits in a pond of clouds watching hospitals and sick people, occasionally carrying spirits upward. After surgery, he encountered another angel in the recovery room who touched his lips, filling his body with water-like sensation. He received the gift of sensing when people are sick, which he has used to help others including detecting cancer.
