Gary woke with a headache, took two pills, then drove to work on a dangerous road with double-S bends. He went into the wrong lane and hit a curb, trying to steer away for 5 seconds before losing consciousness. He found himself out of his body in blackness with hundreds of sparkly lights, aware he had passed over. To his left in a field were many people including his grandmother and her sister who had died the previous year. Colors were vivid. Before him was a medium stream with a white bridge. Jesus stood on the other side with a huge sunlight object shining on his left side that didn't hurt to look at. Meanwhile, a man stopped and cradled Gary's head, telling him to wake up. Gary heard Jesus ask if he wanted to stay for eternal peace or go back. He chose to return and floated straight back into his body while the man was still rocking him. The experience transformed him from a young atheist to a believer who now attends church, reads the Bible daily, and prays frequently. He also discovered healing abilities and continues to see spirits as he did since age 10.
