Fleur was riding her bicycle when it slipped, causing her to fall and hit her head. She lost consciousness and was found lying on the ground by people who called to check if she was okay. Days later, doctors in osteopathy confirmed she had died. During the experience, she found herself in darkness that kept getting darker. She realized she was dead and felt unbelievable love, peace, and tranquility. She felt a border like an endless wall she couldn't cross. She was in nothing yet in everything, free of her body, alone yet sensing a wall. She understood she could stay or return to earthly life, and was pulled back into her body, hearing people calling. After becoming aware of the experience, she was confused about why she chose to return when it felt so good there. Two years later, she feels alienated from most people except her husband and children. She feels she knows what is right but cannot let go of her old self to fully embrace her "Godly self." The experience left her unafraid of death and more spiritual, though she feels isolated and seeks others who understand.
