Darlene had been sick for a long time before emergency surgery revealed a ruptured appendix, ruptured ovarian cyst, and peritonitis throughout her body. During surgery her vitals dropped, she received a heart injection and was roughly closed up. She flatlined during the night. She heard a soft cymbal and her name called, then floated up painlessly surrounded by aurora borealis-like lights. She saw a black speck that grew into a figure as she crawled toward it despite weakness and pain. The figure's hands showed scars and bright light emanated from his face - she recognized Jesus. Remembering the biblical woman healed by touching Jesus's hem, Darlene reached out and touched his garment's hem. Warmth flowed through her body immediately. She awoke in her bed seeing a soft glow and hearing "I Saw a Man" being sung. Nurses found her vitals completely normal after she had flatlined. Despite being full of infection with non-functioning IV, she recovered without completing surgery. She has been blessed with exceptional health for 48 years since, now age 82.
