Maureen, struggling with severe depression and going through a difficult divorce, ingested 1,300 pills (1,000 sleeping pills plus antidepressants) in a suicide attempt. After hearing God's voice commanding her to leave her apartment or die within two minutes, she crawled to a neighbor's door for help. EMTs found her heart rate had dropped to 3 and worked for nine hours pumping her stomach, administering 56 units of blood and massive doses of charcoal. She was technically dead when the EMT announced "She won't live if we don't get her to a pump now."
During her death experience, Maureen found herself in a realm where everything was light, ethereal, warm and alive with colors beyond earthly vibrance. She felt no fear, pain, judgment, blame or shame - only profound love and peace. Angels greeted her with tender energy, their hearts glowing and pulsing with vibrant colored light. Through telepathic communication from her dimly glowing heart, she asked if this was real and learned she had died. Angels took her to a triage area for souls who passed suddenly, wrapping her in indescribably soft blankets while working to balance her light body. She was then guided to a Council of twelve tall, luminous beings who asked if she had created joy in life. When Maureen answered no to creating joy, the Council radiated pure love that dissolved her shame. She learned she had terminated her soul contract early and would be frozen as an observer if she stayed. Choosing to return for her parents' sake, she was promised her depression would heal and she would help eliminate depression through ancestral lines. Standing before God and the Council again, God asked three times if she would serve, to which she agreed wholeheartedly. She was shot back into her body at lightning speed. Maureen's neighbor later reported seeing Mother Mary overlighting her body during the crisis, and the EMT confirmed he'd never seen someone survive that many pills. The experience activated spiritual gifts including the ability to communicate with souls near death. She later encountered Jesus who connected his heart to hers in an infinity symbol, identifying her as "a child of God and woman of Light."
