Perry had anaphylactic shock from bee sting with eyes swollen shut. He rose above his body with 360-degree vision like fly's eyes, seeing wife, doctor, and his body below. He heard doctor panicking but felt no fear, only intense tranquility in extraneous state. Beautiful intense white light surrounded him with absolute calm and well-being. He had to choose whether to continue or return, deciding to return for wife and 6-month-old baby. The choice seemed prompted by someone else though memory is blurred. Doctor succeeded giving life-saving shot. Years later, American colleague asked if he had NDE, saying she could sense those who had. During 2019 meditation, violent memories of NDE returned making him cry. He no longer fears death, transformed from fearing planes when young. Experience may have strengthened Catholic faith though he resists seeing it as sign.
