Catherine had two NDEs - first at age 9 in 1969 playing the pass-out game, and second in 2019 under anesthesia. In the first experience, she suddenly found herself walking down a beautiful path with colors alive with indescribable brilliance. Alone and disoriented, a Being approached asking what she was doing there. When she said she didn't know, the Being said she wasn't supposed to be there yet and took her to a Being of authority. This authority figure knelt to her eye level, held her, and said she must breathe and wake up now, that she would come back again but couldn't stay yet. She woke feeling in a foreign place, wanting to return to the tremendous love and beautiful colors. In her 2019 experience under anesthesia, the Beings were expecting her - a grand reunion in the same light and color-filled place. She felt bathed in love and affection for what seemed like a week, experiencing calm understanding of everything as universal knowledge. The Beings impressed upon her their love and support for her journey back and the things she must do before returning home permanently. Coming back felt like having one's essence stuffed into a goldfish and dropped in a bowl. She woke the happiest she'd ever been, with the feeling staying permanently.
