Bernard experienced a sharp chest pain and lost consciousness, possibly suffering a heart attack in November 2011. During his unconscious state, he found himself in a dark space like outer space, existing as pure presence without a physical body. A beautiful, indescribable light appeared with two angels on either side - beings made of light in human form without wings. One angel resembled his deceased grandmother but younger and more vibrant. She motioned for him to come, and he began rapidly accelerating toward them in pure bliss. He suddenly regained consciousness and felt painful, disgusting, and awkward being back in his body. He begged God to take him back, not wanting to remain alive on Earth. This experience led to a profound spiritual transformation, and he became a born-again Christian with a deep relationship with Christ. Days after the experience, while cleaning his office, he discovered a tiny New Testament Bible and felt the same overwhelming love and peace from his NDE. Reading Jesus' words gave him instant understanding, and colors became more vivid than ever before. He now knows God is real and feels Jesus holding his hand, giving his life meaning and purpose.
