In April 2016, Linda had just finished kickboxing and experienced cramping in her toes and fingers. Though she recognized signs of low potassium/magnesium, she thought eating would resolve it. An hour later, after changing into pajamas and sitting on the couch talking to her husband, she suddenly transitioned to another dimension. Linda found herself surrounded by incredibly bright, loving, and welcoming light. Within this light was her deceased father, who had passed away 50 years earlier when she was five years old. He appeared younger than before his death with a big smile, though she couldn't get close to him. She felt overwhelming happiness seeing him and couldn't stop smiling. The light itself was conscious and aware - she could feel its presence. Looking down, Linda saw her body had transformed into light beams, wearing a gown of light with no physical form, though her father retained a physical appearance so she could recognize him. She was told telepathically that she had to return to complete her mission. The next awareness was being in the emergency room with bright medical lights and people staring down at her - a stark contrast to the warm, welcoming light she had just left. She felt upset returning to her heavy, dense physical body after experiencing such freedom, lightness, and love on the other side. Linda's experience left her with absolute certainty that consciousness survives physical death. She became more empathic with enhanced intuitive abilities, sensing events before they occur. The encounter reinforced her belief that loved ones await reunion after death and that each person has a mission to complete during their earthly life.
