Thirteen-year-old Johnny was struck by lightning while standing on a bridge, leaning against an aluminum light pole. His stepfather witnessed the strike and performed CPR and chest compressions to revive him. Johnny found himself in deep darkness that transitioned through gray to white clouds, then absolute clearness as if floating in space. He observed a crystal-clear creek and a massive 400-500 foot tall tree with multicolored leaves (gold, green, brown, yellow) that sparkled like diamonds from rainbow-reflecting raindrops. With mere thought, he instantly transported to the tree. At a rocky outcrop, he met his soulmate, an 18-19 year old girl in green Robin Hood-style clothing with alabaster skin. She communicated telepathically that it wasn't his time and he had things to "witness" before returning permanently. Johnny felt he had just left this place and been gone only minutes, though 13 years had passed on Earth. She waved her hand and he was drawn back through the tunnel to his body. Seventeen years later, watching a TV show about NDEs, Johnny heard another electrocution survivor describe identical details in the same sequence, confirming his experience's reality.
