In August 1971, Gina experienced an NDE during a severe car accident requiring surgery. She had dreamed of the accident for three nights beforehand with increasing detail, culminating in a dream of her own funeral. During the accident, she felt herself rolling with the car, flying through the air, and landing softly while watching like a movie without pain.
In intensive care before surgery, a man of the cloth (presence without face) took her hand and told her she would be all right. Energy passed from him through her whole body. She then passed through a tunnel toward a peaceful, beautiful bright light and was met by moving forms of pure energy. She experienced overwhelming love and underwent a life review going back to age two, where she did the judging herself. She was given information she cannot fully remember but sometimes just knows things with an additional sense. She had no choice but to return despite begging to stay, being told she had much to do. Upon return, an angel as a glowing bright light stayed at the foot of her bed during recovery, fading as her health improved. She was upset about returning, initially thinking God didn't want her because she was awful.
