Ashli experienced two profound NDEs following suicide attempts in 1989 and 2004. Growing up with an abusive father and experiencing severe trauma including kidnapping, she developed PTSD and struggled with daily migraines. In 1989, after overdosing on pills and alcohol, she experienced a bizarre thump in her chest and found herself floating above her body, observing her friend and mother's panic below.
She traveled through the ceiling and past the stars, seeing the moon with a purple hue. She entered a churning blackness where she encountered malevolent beings who had never been human. Their leader, a gigantic 18-20 foot tall monster with red and orange colors, expressed hatred toward her and revealed she was "a child of THE FATHER." When she called out to Jesus for help, she was immediately pulled into a tunnel of brilliant white-golden light where Jesus embraced her soul. During an extensive life review, Jesus showed her she was destined for heaven and had a job as one of God's witnesses on earth, experiencing suffering to understand evil. In 2004, following another suicide attempt, she again left her body and traveled to heaven, this time encountering both Jesus and God the Father. God appeared as an immense spiritual presence "like Jesus Christ times 20 billion," and told her she could never escape her body again and must complete her earthly mission. God revealed she had never been alone and worked through Jesus Christ. She was shown her spiritual growth and told that upon completing her work, she would fit perfectly into God's mighty puzzle. Both experiences transformed her understanding of suffering, evil, and her purpose as one of God's witnesses on earth. She returned with the knowledge that she is more ancient than she knows and destined for heaven.
