Upon deciding to stay for her child and reaching to take him in her arms, the train departed rapidly without her, and she immediately returned to her body. She awoke to find two nurses and her mother present, with the nurses reporting her pupils had been barely visible and her lips purple for several minutes with no detectable pulse. The experience left her with enhanced sensory perception, greater peace about life's challenges, and certainty about other dimensions of existence.
