Barbara had a car accident after experiencing an allergic reaction to mascara that caused a severe headache. She hit a concrete light pole in a McDonald's parking lot, striking her head on the roof of her SUV. She found herself lying on beautiful white marble steps that were incredibly comfortable, like clouds but sparkly white. She was in a prayer position with hands clasped above her on the steps. Before her stood several beings (5-7 people) in gray shadows with bright white light behind them. The tallest figure in the middle had someone whispering in his ear. Barbara became frightened about being judged for her recent actions but suddenly felt an overwhelming rush of warmth and love from the beings, understanding she was okay. They discussed whether she should stay or return. When she thought desperately that she couldn't leave her husband Geoffrey, she was instantly back in her car reaching toward the windshield. She had a severe scalp injury requiring many stitches. The experience eliminated her fear of death and gave her certainty about the afterlife.
