Anthony was knocked off a sailboat and drowned, remaining clinically dead for several minutes before being revived. He immediately traveled through a long tunnel toward a light, feeling like he was walking quickly without his feet touching ground, accompanied by others walking single file. Upon emerging, he found himself in a vivid realm resembling a warm summer day with extraordinarily bright colors - sky, earth, trees, and poppy-like flowers radiating with unusual intensity. He ran through fields with other people, mostly elderly who moved with youthful vigor, and one sick African American girl who was led forward by an older woman. He sensed he was moving toward more people and felt music. The experience felt much longer than the actual time of clinical death. Since then, he feels he can sense whether people are destined for heaven, attends church weekly, and actively contributes to charitable acts.
