Meghan was hit by a truck while chasing a neighbor's dog on a snowy day in Louisiana, thrown 12 feet into a water-filled ditch. During the impact, she was unaware of being hit and experienced continuing to run in a floating sensation with feet on ground, seeing the dog run back toward home and the truck stopped. After brief darkness, she found herself back in the ditch with her sister telling her not to move. She had broken clavicle, hip, femur, and sacrum, requiring emergency surgery and three blood transfusions. During surgery, she experienced excruciating pain and screamed to be put back to sleep though no one heard her, then saw a woman climbing on her applying pressure to her leg with blood everywhere as the surgeon worked to stop bleeding from a nicked artery. After the NDE, she developed psychic abilities with spirits frequently contacting her through visions, presence, or dreams, which she has learned to embrace to help deceased souls and their families.
