Four-year-old Mache had been severely ill for three days with fevers reaching 104-105 degrees, experiencing hallucinations where the ceiling appeared to bounce like rubber band. She was vomiting hourly and unable to keep anything down. When taken to the hospital emergency room, she was immediately rushed back and became surrounded by medical staff. Despite feeling tired and wanting to sleep, she told everyone she felt better before closing her eyes. She then found herself looking down at her own blue body on a gurney with eyes as slits, while medical staff worked frantically around her. She felt no fear or upset, only slight confusion, knowing she didn't have a body and feeling part of everything and everyone. She floated up through the hospital and continued ascending, beginning to browse through time and seeing events from her early life including detailed memories from before she could walk. As she ascended toward a beautiful light, feeling complete peace with no questions or fears, she suddenly felt a pop and was jerked back down almost instantly, later learning that CPR had been administered to resuscitate her from cardiac arrest.
