Linda, 64, experienced cardiac arrest during cardiac rehabilitation exercise at a hospital. After heart surgery and starting cardiac exercise program, she was 30 minutes into treadmill workout while monitored when her heart's bottom chamber stopped, causing her to fall and hit her head. During the Code Blue, she found herself as "a vapor" against the ceiling, experiencing indescribable happiness, peace, and contentment with feelings beyond imagination. She saw bright light to her right and observed her body below surrounded by medical staff, noting their clothing colors. She could see people working in nearby glass-windowed offices. Though knowing she was dead, she didn't want to return to her body, feeling the profound forgiveness and love of God regardless of circumstances. She saw images of her husband and daughter, knowing they'd be okay, but seeing her youngest son made her realize she had to return. She fell down a black tunnel and awoke repeatedly saying "I was so happy." Staff couldn't believe she survived, and she received a pacemaker the next morning. Earlier that year, she had two prior episodes where her heart stopped briefly, seeing her deceased parents looking through a small window. The experience eliminated her fear of death, strengthened her belief in God's forgiveness, and made her compelled to share with those facing death, though she's selective about whom she tells.
