While white water rafting without a life vest, Anne's raft overturned in rapids. Initially panicked, she accepted she would die and time stopped. She found herself in complete darkness surrounded by love, experiencing perfect peace without anxiety for the first time. She understood everything was one and had a life review. A voice said "Choose" and she understood she could stay in peace or return. She learned this time on Earth is important and chose to return, understanding she would need to relearn everything. Back underwater, a voice guided her to stop fighting the water and told her when to push off something to reach air. A kayaker rescued her. The experience taught her that love is all that matters and she no longer fears death.
