After years of suffering from injuries and illness, Alma made a pact with God to take her in a heart attack. During severe seizures from medication withdrawal in March 2012, she had a profound NDE. She found herself on diamond-like ground in a heavenly garden with crystal-like formations and a waterfall. She encountered deceased relatives and experienced the Glistening Eye of God, a massive white orb that showered her with pure love. A golden-yellow orb emerged, which she recognized as Jesus, who healed her and told her "I Love you." She had a life review showing her acts of kindness throughout her life. Despite wanting to enter Heaven's gate, she was told it wasn't her time and to continue doing what she had been doing. Upon return, she experienced both grief and joy simultaneously, knowing she had experienced something phenomenal.
