A Taiwan university student was riding her moped on a rainy day when a truck illegally cut through traffic, causing an unavoidable collision. In a split second, she turned the moped 90 degrees to crash into an island with trees rather than slide under the truck or be crushed by traffic behind her. At the critical moment of impact, she entered another realm where her consciousness existed without physical form in a quiet darkness. She witnessed an elegantly falling leaf dancing in glittering sky, then found herself in a dim yellow atmosphere filled with dust. She saw many formless people surrounding something on the ground and discovered it was a pale-faced girl bleeding from her head - herself. When she tried to remove the girl's mask, her hand went through the face and she was ejected upward toward a light. She then found herself in pure darkness and silence, a complete void of nothingness. A white-gloved luminous hand appeared and directed her to an ancient Chinese building with dim yellow light. In a boudoir room, the glove gestured her to sit at a vanity where she saw the injured girl in a bronze mirror. Realizing she was that girl, she felt electrified and suddenly returned to her body lying in the road with her classmate calling her name repeatedly.
